About the firm.
Dharsan Seiter Law Corporation is a law firm whose core area of practice is Intellectual Property (IP) law.
At our firm, we believe that YOUR SUCCESS is our success. To achieve your IP goals, we will develop a customized IP strategy for your business, without bursting your budget.
Transparency, honesty, and integrity are the pillars of our work ethic.
Our goal is to connect with the people we work with on a deeper level and develop strong, long-term ties with them.
The firm was established in 2017 by Kiranjit K. Dharsan, a qualified Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Besides Intellectual Property law, the firm also specializes in other legal services such as Contract Law and Business Law.
Our clients are start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, multinational corporations, manufacturers, distributors and retailers. The industries we support are wide-ranging, such as apparel and accessories, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, foods and beverages, electronics and computers, personal care products.
Large or small, new or established, entrepreneur or innovator, sole proprietor or company, every organization must invest time and resources in protecting its legal interests, and this includes the protection of IP rights. A lot of times, companies hire lawyers to handle their business dealings and contractual matters. Sometimes, lawyers are even called upon to litigate contentious cases before the Courts. However, though important, we find that very little time or financial resources are allocated to the protection of IP rights, which can generate revenue for a business.
For this reason, our firm aims to help as many businesses as we can, big and small alike, in achieving their IP goals. Financially, it can be a struggle for some businesses to prioritize protecting their IP rights, which is why we endeavor to help however we can. Being a small firm gives us the advantage of committing highly competitive fees to our clients, without compromising our service standards.
There are many law firms in Singapore that can help a business with the legal aspects of its IP, advising on filing and getting a trademark or other IP right protected in Singapore or regionally. Where we differ is that we get to know each of our clients on a deeper level by investing time in learning more about the company, its aspirations, what they want to get out of their IP, and then discuss an appropriate strategy to achieve those goals. Some firms merely act on the client's instructions without much thoughtful consideration, rather than take time to formulate an IP strategy that works for the relevant company.
We understand the challenges and concerns every business owner is faced with. That is why we want to help you protect your IP rights with as much ease as possible. In this global economy, competition is fierce, not just for you but for us too. We strongly believe that the key to success lies in establishing TRUST with the people we work with. Our goal is to develop strong, long-term ties with the people and companies we connect with. We are here to LISTEN to your concerns, ANALYZE your issues, ANSWER your questions, most importantly, offer you in-depth and complete ADVICE promptly. Transparency, honesty, and integrity are the pillars of our work ethic. As we have structured our business differently, we hope that you will give us the opportunity to show you how we work.
