Kiran is Managing Director of the firm, and your Attorney. She is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, and is also qualified in the State of California as an attorney. She has years of experience in managing trademark and design portfolios in Singapore, all Asia-Pacific jurisdictions and in the United States. She has advised various domestic and international clients, from multi-national corporations to small-medium enterprises to start-ups, on a wide range of issues related to trademarks, designs, copyright and domain names in industries such as apparel and accessories, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, toys, sporting goods, wines and spirits, agricultural and dairy products, foods and beverages, electronic and computers, industrial equipment and machinery and personal care, health care, medical devices and services.

 

Her areas of expertise include advice on branding, trademark searches, filing and prosecution of trademarks and designs, trademark oppositions and cancellations, dispute resolution, negotiating co-existence agreements and trademark enforcement. She has exceptional know-how in working with agents and counsels in all Southeast Asian countries.

Kiran is a member of the Law Society of Singapore, the State Bar of California, Middle Temple (UK), the Singapore Academy of Law, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME), the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA). Kiran is an accredited 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 WIPR Leader (World Intellectual Property Review).
